Tokyo ghoul is a psychological horror thriller series which show very violent action scenes and a very quite dark story about human eating monsters "Ghouls" who look like humans and live within the society as a humans by hiding their identities because they are hunt down and killed by The Authorities.
Based on the best-selling supernatural horror manga by Sui Ishida, Tokyo Ghoul follows Ken Kaneki, a shy, bookish college student, who is instantly fall in love with Rize Kamishiro, an avid reader like himself. However, Rize is not exactly who she seems, and this unfortunate meeting pushes Kaneki into the dark depths of the ghouls' inhuman world. In a twist of fate, Kaneki is saved by the enigmatic waitress Touka Kirishima, and thus begins his new, secret life as a half-ghoul/half-human who must find a way to integrate into both societies.
Conclusion
Tokyo Ghoul is the great psychological horror series because of its dark intense storyline. Character design and development, Direction of this series is also good but Great Animation and standard voice acting make Tokyo Ghoul a must watch series. Unskipable opening song of Unravel by Tōru ‘TK’ Kitajima and Kaneki's new look will definetly make you a Tokyo Ghoul fan.
