Kamisama Kiss is a heartwarming romantic anime series which follows on our main protagonist Nanami Momozono who fall in love with a demon fox who is a familiar of the land god.

Plot

High schooler Nanami Momozono has quite a few problems of late, beginning with her absentee father being in such extreme debt that they lose everything. Downtrodden and homeless, she runs into a man being harassed by a dog. After helping him, she explains her situation, and to her surprise, he offers her his home in gratitude. But when she discovers that said home is a rundown shrine, she tries to leave; however, she is caught by two shrine spirits and a fox familiar named Tomoe. They mistake her for the man Nanami rescued—the land god of the shrine, Mikage. Realizing that Mikage must have sent her there as a replacement god, Tomoe leaves abruptly, refusing to serve a human.

Rather than going back to being homeless, Nanami immerses herself in her divine duties. But if she must keep things running smoothly, she will need the help of a certain hot-headed fox. In her fumbling attempt to seek out Tomoe, she lands in trouble and ends up sealing a contract with him. Now the two must traverse the path of godhood together as god and familiar; but it will not be easy, for new threats arise in the form of a youkai who wants to devour the girl, a snake that wants to marry her, and Nanami's own unexpected feelings for her new familiar.

Characters

Nanami Momozono

She is sweet and kind person who helps other. she was often mocked for her poverty by her classmates. She becomes the local land god after former god Mikage transfers his position as master of the shrine over to Nanami. She begins with very little spiritual power, but works hard at balancing her godly duties with her schoolwork.

Tomoe

Tomoe is a familiar to the last land god, Mikage. He shows a wonderful talent for cooking and is shown to be highly dedicated to the shrine. Tomoe worries a great deal about Nanami and is very aware of how delicate she is as a human, threatening anyone who harms her or speaks ill of her.

Mizuki & Kurama

Mizuki and Kurama are the supporting cast of this anime series. Mizuki is the lonely youkai who fall in love with Nanami because she helped him once. Kurama is the popular youkai who live like a popstar in human form and hate Tomoe.

Conclusion

Kamisama kiss is the heartwarming show that bring smile on your face in each and every episode. The animation style is quite good but the opening and ending song is KAWAII (cute). Comic timing and lovely moments leave charisma on your face. especially ending song video show cute moments of the show.
